Reusable Sanitary Pads?

Image
Reusable Sanitary Pads? Yes! you heard correct 'Reusable sanitary pads!', in today's technology world everything is possible. IIT Delhi incubated startup Sanfe has been working on improving female health and hygiene and has successfully designed and developed sanitary napkin/pad segment with the launch of first Reusable Sanitary Pads , made with composite banana fibres, which can last up to two years (around 120 washes). The pads designed are completely chemical and pesticides free which are majorly used in disposable pads. Thus making the Sanfe reusable pads more safe to use for women. Also the disposable pads which are currently used are majorly of plastics and some other synthetic non biodegradable materials which is resulting in accumulation of large amount of non biodegradable menstrual waste every year. This waste disposed is extremely harmful for the environment and very hard to manage. All these problems created can be addressed by the reusable sani...

Noise Unconventional Energy Source?

Noise Unconventional Energy Source? Really! Did anyone imagine sound energy being used to air condition your rooms? No, right! But, yes it is being made possible by a venture known as 'Sound Energy'. The venture is using sound energy to produce heat. This heat is eventually converted into cold by thermoacoustic technology. The product named 'THEAC-25' is manufactured. Feeding heat input into one side of the THEAC-25 results into 25 kW cold output at the other side, enabling the production of cold air or cold water. The cold output of the THEAC-25 can reach temperatures as low as -25°C.

Will Technology Be Biodegradable In Future?

WILL TECHNOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT GO HAND IN HAND IN FUTURE? Hey guys! this is my first post on my blog and I am feeling really awkward right now as this is my very first experience to share my thoughts and ideas this way. So please bear with my presentation skills. Today I am going to talk about one of my college project which I performed for my internal assessments. I am going to talk about biodegradable electronics and their future scope. I read this information and related articles from (  https://www.researchgate.net/publication/242012066  ). Illinois Professor John A. Rogers demonstrates a new type of electronics; made of silk, magnesium, and silicon, these electronics completely and harmlessly dissolve in water. Nowadays the overall life of electronic gadgets is becoming less which is resulting in highly increasing electronics waste in the whole world. This waste cannot be recycled nor it gets degraded and stays in the environment for hund...
